Simply Mobile started business in 1984 as an affiliate of Faxcell Ltd. Faxcell was the largest Bell Cellular Dealer in Canada throughout the 1980’s and early 1990’s. It was acquired by Bell Canada in 1992. Ron Hillman the owner of Faxcell Ltd. continued to provide consulting services to Bell Canada through 1995 and the company was changed to Bell World. Today Bell World has over two hundred locations throughout Canada. Simply Mobile Ltd. continued to grow its wireless business as a partner with Bell Mobility through 1999 when it was presented with the opportunity to acquire several Bell World Stores. Simply Mobile agreed to operate three locations as a Bell World Dealer. These include London East at Dundas and Clark Road, White Oaks Mall in London and Lambton Mall in Sarnia. The addition of the Bell World Dealerships allowed Simply Mobile Ltd. to add additional products and services to its lineup and utilize the Bell Canada Brand. This has been a very successful partnership with Simply Mobile Ltd. now one of the most successful Bell World Dealers in Canada.
